Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a mobile test automation engineer to automate regression tests across iOS and Android, starting with TestRails, and then expand coverage to improve overall reliability.

You will work remotely from Portugal with flextime and core EST hours (9am–1pm). The role offers USD-based compensation, mentorship, and opportunities to work on projects for Fortune 500 clients and leading brands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin.
• Experience with Firebase & Test Lab (preferred).
• Familiarity with UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.
• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;
• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;
• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
