AgileEngine is seeking a mobile test automation engineer to join remotely, working across iOS and Android to automate regression tests and improve coverage. You will focus on replacing manual tests with robust automation while prioritizing tasks for efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation.
• Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
• Familiar with Firebase & Test Lab is ideal.
• Knowledge of UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.
• Ability to work within EST 9am–1pm hours.

Responsibilities

• Automate our existing regression testing suite (~150 manual tests) and expand automation to improve coverage.
• Build and maintain automated tests for iOS and Android features, replacing manual regression tests.
• Prioritize automated testing tasks and avoid new feature development responsibilities.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;


• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;


• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;


• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);


• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;


• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
