Job summary

AgileEngine is hiring for a remote role focused on expanding and maintaining automated tests for mobile apps. You will automate an existing regression suite, replace manual tests, and extend coverage across iOS and Android platforms.

Requirements include 2+ years in mobile test automation, Kotlin, and familiarity with Firebase Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric. Working hours are 9am–1pm EST, with a flexible, remote-friendly setup.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
