We Are META is seeking a Tech Lead Java Developer to drive backend architecture for financial data applications. The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, taking ownership of design, security, and scale in a hybrid Porto setting.

You will work with cross-functional teams, engage end-users during validation, and apply Agile practices with Jira/Confluence. Fluency in English (B2) is required; based in Portugal with EU permit or citizenship.

Qualificações

• 6 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Mastery of Java 21 with Spring framework to design, secure, and scale back-end architectures for financial data management applications.
• Solid command of CI/CD pipelines to industrialize solutions and maintain high development standards.
• Advanced SQL skills using PostgreSQL to ensure data quality across sources.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence/ALM for planning, tracking, and documentation.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 6 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Mastery of Java 21 is required, with strong proficiency in the Java Spring framework to design, secure, and scale back-end architectures for financial data management applications.
• Solid command of CI/CD pipelines to industrialize solutions and maintain high development standards across the delivery lifecycle.
• Advanced SQL skills using PostgreSQL to ensure high data quality and consistency across multiple referential data sources.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and associated tooling — Jira, Confluence, and ALM — to contribute effectively across planning, tracking, and documentation activities.
• Ability to engage with end-users during validation phases and translate functional requirements into technical solutions, reflecting the role's dual Technical Business Analyst orientation.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for hybrid model, 2-3 times a week based in Porto
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
