Quanteam, the founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, is a banking and financial services consulting firm seeking a Senior Application Production Support Analyst in a hybrid Lisbon-based role. You will provide L1/L2 support for critical applications, monitor services, and resolve incidents with cross-functional teams in a 24/7 environment.

The ideal candidate has strong Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and middleware experience (MQ, Tomcat) and is fluent in English.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Application Production Support, ideally in Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
• Hands-on application troubleshooting and production incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support for critical banking applications and data platforms.
• Monitor availability, stability and performance of applications and services.
• Analyze incidents by reviewing system, middleware, app, and database logs.
• Prioritize and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs (SLOs).
• Work with Business, IT, Development and other teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to Problem Management and recurring issue remediation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous service improvement.
• Support changes, deployments and production readiness checks.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and Live Play activities.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Join a 24/7 production support model with shifts and on-call rotations.

We are looking for a Senior Application Production Support Analyst

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support for critical applications and data platforms in a banking environment.
• Monitor applications and services, ensuring their availability, stability, and performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot incidents by investigating system, middleware, application, and database logs.
• Prioritize and resolve incidents and service requests within defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Work closely with Business, IT, Development, Infrastructure, and other support teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to Problem Management activities by identifying recurring issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous service improvement to reduce manual and repetitive tasks.
• Support application changes, deployments, and production readiness checks.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Live Play activities.
• Create and maintain application support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Participate in a 24/7 production support model, including shifts, on-call rotations, weekends, and public holidays.
• Proven experience in Application Production Support / Application Support, ideally within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with application troubleshooting and production incident management.
• Practical knowledge of Autosys and middleware technologies such as MQ and Tomcat.
• Practical experience with Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouses and Data Platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and incident/problem management processes.
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and critical-thinking approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, persistent, and service-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop technical skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 support environment, including shifts and on-call rotations.
• Hybrid position based in Lisbon.
• This role offers a gross annual salary between 15.000€ and 60.500€, defined according to the candidate's experience and competencies.
