Quanteam, a consulting firm focused on Banking and Financial Services, seeks an IT Software Asset Management Analyst in Lisbon. The role involves governing SAM processes, monitoring licence usage, and maintaining software purchase evidence in a hybrid Lisbon setting.

Requires 3+ years IT experience with SAM or ITAM, strong licensing knowledge, and fluency in Portuguese and English. French is a plus; health insurance and extra holidays are offered.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of professional IT experience.
• Prior Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management experience.
• Strong understanding of software licensing, contracts and license compliance.
• Experience analysing and documenting contractual/licensing information.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; knowledge of French is a plus.

We are looking for an IT Software Asset Management Analyst

• Support the implementation of Software Asset Management (SAM) governance, rules, procedures and best practices.
• Monitor software usage against purchased licences to ensure compliance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collect and analyse software usage information through global and local inventories.
• Collect and maintain evidence of software purchases, including contracts, amendments, purchase orders, invoices and maintenance payments.
• Act as a point of contact for software-related purchases, liaising with procurement teams and software resellers.
• Follow up on software compliance and optimization action plans, including licence purchase, transfer and software uninstallation.
• Analyse software contracts and extract relevant information regarding licensing metrics, purchase rules and specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering software usage, purchases, maintenance payments and action plans.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on software assets, usage, compliance and optimization, including management reporting.
• Identify potential risks or issues and escalation relevant points to management.
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders in a multicultural and remote environment.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT.
• Previous experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management.
• Good understanding of software licensing, contracts and licence compliance.
• Experience analysing and documenting contractual and licensing information.
• Knowledge of Power BI and experience preparing reports or dashboards.
• ITIL certification is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and inquisitive mindset.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Results-driven and able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Knowledge of French.
