ITDS is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Developer to lead the research, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions for a client in Lisbon/Porto on a hybrid model with up to 3 remote days per week.

You will design AI agents, optimize token usage, manage RAG systems, and work with vector databases and embedding technologies. Fluency in English and French (C1) is required to excel in cross‑functional collaboration.

As a Senior AI Solutions Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading innovator in artificial intelligence. You will spearhead the research, development, and deployment of advanced AI-powered solutions, contributing to transformative projects that push the boundaries of technology. Your main responsibilities:

• Research, test, and develop sophisticated AI applications to meet evolving business needs
• Design and implement AI agents with advanced capabilities, ensuring optimal performance
• Optimize token usage across all AI models to maximize cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency
• Maintain and enhance RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for better data retrieval and processing
• Develop and manage vector databases and embedding solutions to support semantic search functionalities
• Integrate multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and orchestrate complex AI workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and develop scalable solutions
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve offerings

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 9 years of experience in AI development, with proven expertise in deploying AI solutions
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python (or other preferred AI programming languages)
• Hands-on experience creating and deploying AI agents and managing RAG systems
• Strong background in vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.) and embedding technologies
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, token optimization, and semantic search techniques
• Experience with integrating multiple LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.
• Excellent command of English (Fluent level) and strong business communication skills
• Fluency in French at C1 level is required

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or additional expertise in AI/ML frameworks
• Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
