Match Profiler is seeking a Senior AI Solution Expert / AI Developer to design, implement, and enable AI capabilities for business use cases. Focus areas include LLMs, RAG, semantic search, document intelligence, and Azure AI services.

The role requires building secure, scalable, and governable AI solutions while guiding product teams. You will translate business needs into prototypes and reusable capabilities and work in a hybrid setup (1x/month in Lisbon).

Qualificações

• Senior AI role focusing on designing, implementing and enabling AI capabilities with a governance mindset.
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, indexing and RAG architectures.
• Experience designing reusable AI components and knowledge ingestion pipelines.
• Ability to guide product teams on AI feasibility, architecture decisions and production readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business requirements into AI solution concepts, prototypes, MVPs, and reusable capabilities.
• Design and implement AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search and related cloud services.
• Develop LLM-based and RAG solutions, including prompt engineering, embeddings, indexing, and semantic search.
• Support the full AI use case lifecycle from discovery to deployment readiness and monitoring.
• Enable and coach product teams on integrating AI into applications and processes.

AI Solution Expert / AI Developer (Senior) | Hybrid (1x/month in Lisbon)

What we are looking for

Senior AI Solution Expert / AI Developer focused on designing, implementing, and enabling AI capabilities that support business use cases. The role translates business needs and data sources into secure, scalable, reusable, and governed AI solutions, with a strong focus on LLMs, RAG, semantic search, document intelligence, and Azure AI services.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into AI solution concepts, prototypes, MVPs, and reusable capabilities.


• Design and implement AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure ML, Document Intelligence, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, APIs, and related cloud services.


• Develop LLM-based and RAG solutions, including prompt engineering, embeddings, indexing, knowledge ingestion, semantic search, grounding, traceability, evaluation, and answer validation.


• Support the full AI use case lifecycle, from discovery and feasibility assessment to implementation, deployment readiness, monitoring, and reusable solution creation.


• Enable and guide product teams on integrating AI capabilities into applications and business processes.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience as AI Solution Expert, AI Developer, AI Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar role.


• Practical experience with LLMs, embeddings, indexing, RAG architectures, semantic retrieval, prompt engineering, document intelligence, AI evaluation, APIs, and cloud-native AI development.


• Experience building reusable AI components, knowledge ingestion pipelines, orchestration layers, MCP/API integrations, and evaluation mechanisms.


• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, security, scalability, observability, governance, responsible AI, data protection, and cost optimization.


• Ability to advise and coach development and product teams on AI feasibility, architecture decisions, technical trade-offs, governance, and production readiness.


• Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools is valued.


• Business-fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• RAG systems, vector databases, semantic search, embeddings, chunking strategies, knowledge ingestion, grounding, traceability, answer validation, and AI quality evaluation.


• AI architecture design, technical decision matrices, cost modelling, operational risk assessment, and scalable AI delivery frameworks.
