About the project

You’ll join the Artificial Intelligence Center at a Telco company, a dedicated center of excellence focused on identifying, designing, developing, and scaling AI solutions across the organization.

This center works closely with business teams and technical teams to turn real business challenges into practical AI solutions. Its work spans Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI, covering use cases such as churn prediction, intelligent assistants based on LLMs, voicebots, customer service quality analysis, and AI agents that automate business processes.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in making sure that AI use cases are clearly defined, properly validated, and technically realistic before they reach the development teams.

You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear functional requirements while understanding what current AI technologies can and cannot realistically deliver.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business analysis, functional design, and Artificial Intelligence, contributing directly to the quality, efficiency, and adoption of AI solutions across a large organization.

What will be your role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in functional analysis and requirements gathering, combined with practical knowledge of AI solutions.

You’ll be responsible for leading structured requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, translating business needs into clear and actionable functional specifications, and ensuring that requirements are complete, unambiguous, validated, and technically realistic.

You’ll work closely with business teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases, participate in the functional design of solutions, and support technical teams throughout development and implementation.

A key part of your role will be understanding AI well enough to challenge assumptions, anticipate technical limitations, identify edge cases, and help manage expectations around what AI can and cannot solve.

Your responsibilities will include

• Leading structured requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and ensuring specifications are complete, clear, and validated before development.

• Participating in discussions around AI use cases, functional design, and solution feasibility.
• Working collaboratively with business stakeholders, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and other technical teams.

What should you bring to the team?

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
• Proven professional experience in business analysis, functional analysis, and requirements gathering.
• A track record of producing clear and structured specifications that helped prevent ambiguity or reduce rework.
• Practical experience working with AI solutions, beyond conceptual knowledge or general interest.
• Good understanding of current AI approaches, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and traditional Machine Learning.
• Ability to assess whether a business requirement is technically feasible using current AI approaches before turning it into a formal specification.
• Experience with business processes and the ability to understand and translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI principles, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Good understanding of functional analysis, requirements management, functional design, and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A structured and critical mindset, with the ability to question and deepen vague requirements rather than simply documenting them as provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage business expectations around what AI can and cannot deliver.
• Ability to act as an effective interface between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset, with a strong focus on results and value creation.
• Genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence and a willingness to continuously learn and keep up with the evolution of AI technologies.
