Hexa Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Mid AI Functional Analyst to support identification, design and implementation of AI solutions in the telecommunications sector. The role is based in Lisbon, Picoas, with a hybrid work model.

You will gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, collaborate with business and technical teams, and promote responsible AI practices while ensuring quality documentation and testing.

Qualificações

• Mid-level experience in functional analysis, business analysis or requirements management in technology-driven contexts.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications for AI-based solutions.
• Knowledge of business processes and operational needs across areas.
• Understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts and responsible AI principles.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and strong written/verbal communication.
• Experience with analysis, functional design and testing methodologies.

We are looking for a Mid AI Functional Analyst to support the identification, design and implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions in the telecommunications sector. This opportunity is based in Lisbon, Picoas, with a hybrid work model, ideally three days per week on-site, with flexibility for professionals based outside Lisbon.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and structured functional requirements for AI-supported technology solutions.
• Identify opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence across processes, products and services.
• Support the definition and prioritization of AI use cases in collaboration with business areas.
• Participate in the functional design of AI solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
• Support technical teams during development and implementation phases.
• Define acceptance criteria and participate in testing and functional validation of implemented solutions.
• Ensure quality, consistency and traceability of functional documentation.
• Promote Responsible AI principles, supporting alignment with internal policies and applicable regulation.
• Support change management and adoption of AI solutions across the organization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify improvement and innovation opportunities through AI.
• Use AI tools to support requirements analysis, research, synthesis, documentation and functional specification activities.
• Contribute to the dissemination of responsible, secure and efficient AI utilization practices across business areas.

• Knowledge of business processes and ability to understand operational needs across different areas.

• Knowledge of Responsible AI principles, privacy and compliance considerations.
• Experience with analysis, functional design and testing methodologies.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese.
• Availability to join preferably within 30 days.
