Match Profiler, an Information Systems consultancy, is seeking a Senior AI Data Analyst to join as part of a client project. The role focuses on data preparation, validation, quality assurance for AI processing and business insights generation, with hybrid work requiring 1 day per month in Lisbon.

You will profile, cleanse, transform data from multiple sources, and collaborate with agile teams to ensure AI data readiness and quality.

Qualificações

• > Strong experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data pre-processing.
• > Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries for cleansing, transformation, and exploratory analysis.
• > Solid understanding of data quality, data governance, metadata, lineage, and analytical best practices.
• > Experience preparing structured and unstructured data for AI, ML, analytics automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
• > Experience with document data extraction, PDF processing, OCR outputs, or text normalization (preferred).
• > Experience with Azure data services and data visualization tools.

AI Data Analyst (Senior) | Hybrid (1x/month in Lisbon)

What we are looking for

Senior AI Data Analyst (+5 years of experience) focused on data preparation, analysis, validation, and quality assurance for AI processing and business insights generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, profile, cleanse, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources.
• Assess and improve data quality (completeness, consistency, accuracy, duplicates, formatting, and anomalies).
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns, gaps, correlations, and quality issues relevant to AI and business decision-making.
• Build and maintain reusable data pipelines, quality checks, and datasets for AI, reporting, and analytics.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to validate requirements, test outputs, and improve AI data readiness.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data pre-processing.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries for cleansing, transformation, and exploratory analysis.
• Solid understanding of data quality, data governance, metadata, lineage, and analytical best practices.
• Experience preparing structured and unstructured data for AI, machine learning, analytics automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with document data extraction, PDF processing, OCR outputs, or text normalization (preferred).
• Experience with Azure data services (Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or similar cloud platforms).
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to develop AI expertise.
• Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with business, engineering, and AI teams.
• Business-fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
