Job summary

Planck Technologies in Portugal is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to join the Central AI team. You will be the security voice in cross-country programs, embedding security by design across AI use cases and platforms, and guiding executives, engineers and country teams.

This senior role requires 7+ years in IT and cyber security, deep cloud security, IAM, and secure SDLC, plus fluent Portuguese and English. Hybrid model based in Lisbon offers collaboration with cutting-edge AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT and cyber security, including transformation or platform work.
• Based in Portugal and able to work in Lisbon area.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (minimum C1).

Responsibilities

• Embed security by design across AI use cases, agents, and platform integrations.
• Translate security policies into practical controls and guidance for AI teams.
• Prepare security-gate evidence and drive remediation of control gaps.
• Address AI-specific risks such as prompt injection and data leakage.
• Support due diligence for external AI vendors and APIs.
• Strengthen AI incident readiness with detection, logging, and response playbooks.
