Keyrus Portugal is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join a cross-disciplinary team. You will drive AI solution development, LLM engineering, and data engineering foundations to deliver scalable, production-ready intelligent systems.

The role blends technical execution with client-facing consultancy in an international environment, with a focus on responsible AI practices and measurable business outcomes.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or AI Engineering.
• Proven experience building production-grade Python applications.
• Experience with unstructured data processing pipelines.
• English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain LLM-powered pipelines for processing and automating customer requests.
• Design and implement data ingestion, preprocessing, and enrichment pipelines for unstructured data sources.
• Develop classification, routing, and decision workflows for customer inquiries.
• Apply prompt engineering best practices and improve model performance.
• Implement structured outputs and HITL workflows for reliability.
• Ensure production readiness through testing, CI/CD, containerisation, and monitoring.
• Contribute to AI architecture design and standards.
• Monitor and optimise AI systems with observability tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate AI solutions.
