BGBx is seeking an AI Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to maintain and evolve our AI agents, LLM-as-a-judge systems, and AI-powered tools across healthcare and life sciences. You will work with senior engineers on graph design and develop grounding, citations, and coverage to define what a good answer means.

You’ll contribute to tooling, retrieval, and architecture improvements while supporting evaluations and experiments to enhance system performance.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience, ideally with data/AI systems.
• Proficient in writing and testing Python code.
• Experience integrating APIs with pagination, timeouts, auth, and complex JSON responses.
• Interest in building reliable AI systems and addressing hallucinations and citation issues.

Responsabilidades

• Build and improve agent tools across retrieval, grounding, vector search, and data sources.
• Extend agent state machines with tool-calling loops, reviews, and token guards.
• Maintain production AI systems with observability and reliability focus.
• Own features from design through testing, deployment, and production support.
