XM is seeking a Software Development AI Technical Expert to lead the responsible evaluation, adoption and practical application of AI across Software Development and Software Quality Assurance.

You will research emerging AI technologies, pilot projects and translate successful solutions into practical tools, standards and development practices. Lead guidance on AI-enabled development, code quality and impact measurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in IT engineering roles with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI landscape, LLMs, AI agents and automation.
• Experience modernising SDLC with AI tooling and automation.
• Hands-on with AI-powered development tools and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with governance, security, and IP considerations for AI outputs.
• Ability to measure development performance with data-driven metrics.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and partners.

Responsabilités

• Act as the AI subject-matter expert for AI-enabled software development and QA.
• Research and benchmark AI applications, tools and industry practices.
• Provide guidance on AI-enabled development and practical adoption.
• Prototype and evaluate AI capabilities with clear objectives and success metrics.
• Contribute to AI pilots from concept to evaluation and scaling.
• Support transition of AI tools into SDLC, including code assistance and AI-reviewed testing.
• Develop standards for responsible use of AI and AI-generated code.
• Establish measures of AI effectiveness and impact across teams.
• Assess AI maturity and identify actions to improve capability.
• Promote knowledge-sharing via playbooks, templates and communities of practice.
• Collaborate with IT, Group and other departments on AI opportunities.
• Represent the Group at conferences and events to share insights.
