Elastic is building observability tooling and AI-assisted monitoring to help engineers detect and investigate incidents at scale. The role focuses on the Kibana UI and the autonomous agent system, turning telemetry into actionable signals and driving remediation with less manual effort.

The position requires TypeScript, React, and Node.js experience, plus knowledge of LLM-based systems. We offer a distributed work model with flexible locations and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• At least two years developing applications with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Using AI to accelerate development, debug systems, and optimize code, while still owning the outcomes.
• Knowledge of LLM-based systems — agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval, context management.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field), or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• A creative individual with an enthusiastic interest in technology and software engineering.
• A willingness to learn in a dynamic and distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Build the Kibana interfaces where signals, investigations, and findings reach users.
• Contribute to the multi-agent system that pursues root cause autonomously.
• Develop detection queries and baselines for telemetry signals.
• Support evaluation infrastructure, datasets, and model quality assessments.
• Collaborate with UX, product, and data science teams on scope and sequencing.
