Job summary

Elastic Observability is building a system that monitors production environments like an expert SRE. You will work on the Kibana UI, where autonomous investigations meet engineers who rely on them, ensuring evidence is clear and remediation follows.

You will also help design detection pipelines and a multi-agent system that autonomously digs into root causes and drives remediation, across a distributed, remote-friendly team.

Qualifications

• Two years developing applications with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Experience using AI to accelerate development, debug systems, and optimize code.
• Knowledge of LLM-based systems — agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval, context management.

Responsibilities

• Build the Kibana interfaces where signals, investigations, and findings reach users.
• Contribute to the multi-agent system that pursues root cause autonomously.
• Contribute to systems that establish baselines across high-cardinality telemetry and generate detection queries.
• Help build offline and online evaluations and contribute to dataset construction.
• Partner with UX designers, product managers, and data scientists on cross-functional collaboration.
