Decskill, an IT consulting company with more than 10 years of consolidated experience, is growing and seeking talented people to join our team in Portugal. We value curiosity, commitment and a hands-on approach to data analysis, data quality, and analytics enablement.

You will work with SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), Power BI, and Azure data services to prepare data for analytics and AI use cases in agile, cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data pre-processing activities.
• Hands-on experience with data cleansing, transformation, validation, and preparation for analytics and AI use cases.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying and analyzing complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and similar tools.
• Experience assessing and improving data quality, including completeness, consistency, accuracy, duplication, and anomaly detection.
• Good understanding of data governance concepts, metadata, data lineage, and data management best practices.
• Experience preparing structured and unstructured data for AI and machine learning workflows.
• Experience working with data validation rules and quality frameworks.
• Ability to analyze datasets, identify patterns, gaps, correlations, and data issues.
• Experience creating reusable datasets and documented data preparation processes.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar solutions.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure Data Services (Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB or similar).
• Knowledge of document processing, PDF extraction, OCR outputs, or text normalization is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to develop AI-related knowledge.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Nice to Have: Experience with AI-assisted data analysis tools.
• Nice to Have: Previous experience supporting Machine Learning or Generative AI projects.
