Smartex.ai in Porto is seeking a highly motivated Software Project Management Intern to join our Engineering team. You will help coordinate product development, align technical execution with business priorities, and drive agile project management practices while working embedded with software engineers and cross-functional teams.

This internship offers hands-on experience managing complex software projects for Industry 4.0 solutions in a fast-paced deep-tech company, with exposure to sprint

Qualificações

• Degree or background in Industrial Engineering, Management or related field.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in project management, product development, and engineering operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day Agile Coordination: Facilitate sprint rituals and support the software team’s execution.
• Process & Framework Optimization: Design and iterate an Agile PM framework for a fast-scaling environment.
• Planning & Tracking: Assist in backlog management, sprint planning, and dependency tracking using Linear, GitHub and Notion.
• Blocker Escalation & Alignment: Capture action items, monitor progress, and escalate blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Bridge gaps between Software Engineering and Product/Operations/Customer Success with clear updates.
• Metrics & Reporting: Set up dashboards to monitor team performance and delivery efficiency.
