You will help coordinate product development, align technical execution with business priorities, and drive agile project management practices while working embedded with software engineers and cross-functional teams.

This internship offers hands-on experience managing complex software projects for Industry 4.0 solutions in a fast-paced deep-tech company, with exposure to sprint

Qualificações

• Degree or background in Industrial Engineering, Management or related field.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in project management, product development, and engineering operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day Agile Coordination: Facilitate sprint rituals and support the software team’s execution.
• Process & Framework Optimization: Design and iterate an Agile PM framework for a fast-scaling environment.
• Planning & Tracking: Assist in backlog management, sprint planning, and dependency tracking using Linear, GitHub and Notion.
• Blocker Escalation & Alignment: Capture action items, monitor progress, and escalate blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Bridge gaps between Software Engineering and Product/Operations/Customer Success with clear updates.
• Metrics & Reporting: Set up dashboards to monitor team performance and delivery efficiency.

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Project Management Intern to join Smartex’s Engineering team. In this role, you will work embedded within our Software team, helping to coordinate product development, align technical execution with business priorities, and drive agile project management practices. Working closely with Tech Leads, Software Engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will gain hands‑on experience in managing complex software projects for scalable Industry 4.0 solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about software project management, agile methodologies, and eager to make a real impact in a fast-growing deep-tech company.

• Day-to-day Agile Coordination: Facilitate sprint rituals (standups, planning, retrospectives) and support the day-to-day execution of the Software Engineering team.
• Process & Framework Optimization: Assess current engineering workflows to design, roll out, and iterate an Agile project management framework tailored to a fast-scaling deep-tech environment.
• Planning & Tracking: Assist in backlog management, sprint planning, and dependency tracking using tools like Linear, GitHub, and Notion.
• Blocker Escalation & Alignment: Capture action items, monitor progress, proactively identify risks, and escalation technical blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Bridge the gap between Software Engineering and non-technical teams (Product, Operations, Customer Success) through clear status updates and reporting.
• Metrics & Reporting: Set up dashboards to monitor team performance, cycle time, and delivery efficiency, using data to drive continuous improvement.
