Smartex is seeking a highly motivated Software Project Management Intern to join our Engineering team. You will work embedded within our Software team, coordinating product development, aligning technical execution with business priorities, and driving agile project management practices.

You will gain hands-on experience managing complex software projects for Industry 4.0 solutions in a fast-paced, deep-tech environment.

Qualificações

• Degree or background in Industrial Engineering, Management or related field.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in project management, product development, and engineering operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and ownership.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deep-tech environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day Agile Coordination: Facilitate sprint rituals (standups, planning, retrospectives) and support the day-to‑day execution of the Software Engineering team.
• Process & Framework Optimization: Assess current engineering workflows to design, roll out, and iterate an Agile project management framework tailored to a fast‑scaling deep‑tech environment.
• Planning & Tracking: Assist in backlog management, sprint planning, and dependency tracking using tools like Linear, GitHub, and Notion.
• Blocker Escalation & Alignment: Capture action items, monitor progress, proactively identify risks, and escalate technical blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Bridge the gap between Software Engineering and non‑technical teams (Product, Operations, Customer Success) through clear status updates and reporting.
• Metrics & Reporting: Set up dashboards to monitor team performance, cycle time, and delivery efficiency, using data to drive continuous improvement.
