Nearshoreportugal seeks an experienced Active Directory & Entra-ID Product Owner to lead strategy, design, and lifecycle management of identity services across a hybrid environment.

You will own the global product vision, manage the backlog, and drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration, zero trust, and IAM governance, while ensuring security, availability, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience with AD/Entra-ID in multinational environments.
• Strong hybrid identity architecture expertise.
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell; Terraform/Bicep/Azure CLI a plus.
• IAM knowledge: MFA, SSO, RBAC, PAM, CA, Zero Trust.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, networking.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX and similar frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

Active Directory & Entra-ID Product Owner

Description

We are looking for an Active Directory & Entra-ID Product Owner. This role sits at the heart of a highly visible transformation program and is critical in shaping the future of our global identity and access management ecosystem.

You will act as both product owner and technical expert (L3), driving the strategy, design, and lifecycle management of our Active Directory and Microsoft Entra-ID platforms. The role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid identity services that enable business agility across our global operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra-ID (Azure AD) in complex, multinational environments
• Strong expertise in hybrid identity architecture (on-prem + cloud)
• Advanced experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell required; Terraform/Bicep/Azure CLI a plus)
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management (IAM): MFA, SSO, RBAC, PAM, Conditional Access, Zero Trust
• Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise networking
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and audit solutions
• Experience working within compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in English

• Lead incident management and resolution for identity-related issues
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance alignment
• Champion automation and operational excellence (provisioning, access reviews, reporting)
• Collaborate with IT, security, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases
• Train and mentor teams, fostering continuous improvement and innovation

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Identity & Access, Azure Architect, ITIL)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and cloud-native tooling
• Knowledge of Azure Stack HCI / hybrid cloud environments
• Experience in large-scale transformation programs
• Additional languages beyond English and French
