Nearshore Portugal is seeking an Active Directory & Entra-ID Product Owner to shape the global identity strategy and lifecycle for AD and Entra-ID platforms. You will combine product ownership with technical leadership to design secure, scalable identity services across our multinational operations.

The role emphasizes hybrid identity architecture, modernization initiatives, and collaboration with IT, security, and business stakeholders to deliver resilient identity solutions.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra-ID in multinational environments.
• Strong expertise in hybrid identity architecture (on-prem + cloud).
• Advanced experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell required; Terraform/Bicep/Azure CLI a plus).
• Deep knowledge of IAM: MFA, SSO, RBAC, PAM, Conditional Access, Zero Trust.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise networking.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and audit solutions.
• Experience in compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the global product vision and roadmap for AD & Entra-ID services.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, aligning with business value and risk.
• Design and lead the implementation of hybrid identity architectures.
• Drive modernization initiatives (cloud migration, federation, Zero Trust, conditional access).
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization of identity services.
• Implement and enforce security best practices (MFA, SSO, PAM, RBAC, audit logging).
• Lead incident management and resolution for identity-related issues.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance alignment.
• Champion automation and operational excellence (provisioning, access reviews, reporting).
• Collaborate with IT, security, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
• Train and mentor teams, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

We are looking for an Active Directory & Entra-ID Product Owner. This role sits at the heart of a highly visible transformation program and is critical in shaping the future of our global identity and access management ecosystem.

You will act as both product owner and technical expert (L3), driving the strategy, design, and lifecycle management of our Active Directory and Microsoft Entra-ID platforms. The role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid identity services that enable business agility across our global operations.
