Job summary

Nearshoreportugal seeks an experienced Active Directory & Entra-ID Product Owner to lead strategy, design, and lifecycle management of identity services across a hybrid environment.

You will own the global product vision, manage the backlog, and drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration, zero trust, and IAM governance, while ensuring security, availability, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with AD/Entra-ID in multinational environments.
• Strong hybrid identity architecture expertise.
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell; Terraform/Bicep/Azure CLI a plus.
• IAM knowledge: MFA, SSO, RBAC, PAM, CA, Zero Trust.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, networking.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX and similar frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Define the global product vision and roadmap for AD & Entra-ID services.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog by business value and risk.
• Design and lead hybrid identity architectures.
• Drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration and Zero Trust.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance.
• Enforce security best practices (MFA, SSO, RBAC, audit logs).
• Lead incident management for identity-related issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and compliance alignment.
• Champion automation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with IT, security, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Develop runbooks, documentation, and knowledge bases.
• Train and mentor teams, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
