Axians is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst to join its Record to Report and Accounting Controls environment in Lisbon. The role involves reconciliations, VAT reporting, and analysis of accounting entries, with a focus on accuracy, controls, and international compliance.

Ideal candidates will have an accounting degree and experience with SAP/Oracle, strong English skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to support global operations and ongoing process improvements.

Qualificações

• University degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounting, AP/AR, or similar roles.
• Experience using MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Oracle.
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of French is a plus.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst to join a Record to Report and Accounting Controls environment. This professional will be responsible for performing accounting reconciliations, preparing VAT reports, analyzing accounting entries, and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Perform reconciliation of accounting data between different systems and dedicated tools.
• Analyze accounting entries and identify potential anomalies or discrepancies.
• Prepare VAT reports based on accounting information and regulatory requirements.
• Execute accounting controls in accordance with established corporate procedures.
• Support the monitoring and analysis of open items within vendor and client accounts.
