Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) in Portugal is seeking a Payments/Finance Operations professional to manage domestic and international payments, ensure controls, and maintain master data in SAP. The role requires SAP FI/AP experience, Excel proficiency, and fluent English, with additional European languages a plus.

You will collaborate with AP, Treasury and Accounting teams to ensure end-to-end payment cycles, support process improvements, and contribute to automation initiatives within

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in Payments, Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of payment processes, banking platforms, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in SAP FI/AP modules or other ERP systems; solid Excel skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and banking regulations.
• Monitor payment queues, investigate rejected or returned payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor and bank master data in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (AP, Treasury, Accounting) to ensure smooth end-to-end payment cycles.
• Support payment process improvements and contribute to automation and system enhancement initiatives.

• Experience in Payments, Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations within an international environment;
• Strong understanding of payment processes, banking platforms, and financial controls;
• Proficiency in SAP (FI/AP modules preferred) or other ERP systems; Solid Excel skills;
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken);
• Additional European languages are a plus.
