Natixis in Portugal, a Centre of Expertise within Groupe BPCE, seeks a driven accounting professional to review, evaluate, and implement controls for the Financing business. You will collaborate with Back Office to perform accounts reconciliation and provide accurate statutory reporting.

You'll work with Matisse, ematch, LIQ, Raphael, Calypso, Excel, Easymorph and Power BI to analyse balance sheet items and justify provisions, ensuring timely entries and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management with BI/Data Analytics interest.
• Advance Knowledge of IFRS GAAP.
• Knowledge in Local Tax regulation (VAT).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level).
• Strong interest or proven experience in process automation (Alteryx valued).

Responsabilidades

• Understand, review, evaluate, and implement controls for Financing accounting.
• Coordinate with Back Office to perform accounts reconciliation.
• Access systems: Matisse, ematch, LIQ, Raphael, Calypso (Nostro), Excel, Easymorph, Power BI.
• Perform daily Nostro and suspense account reconciliations with Back Office.
• Conduct accounting vs. management reconciliations of balance sheet items.
• Justify balance sheet provisions and cost of risk accounts.
• Analyze late operations and enter required manual entries up to D+2.

Job Description

Team presentation and main goal:

• To understand, review, evaluate, and implement effective controls in relation to the accounting requirements for the Financing business.
• In close coordination with the Back Office team, perform the different activities of accounts reconciliation.
• System access: Matisse, ematch, LIQ, Raphael, Calypso (Nostro) Excel (preparation statutory regulatory reporting), Easymorph, Power BI.

Main tasks and goals:

• Perform the daily reconciliation Nostro accounts and the suspense accounts in coordination with Back Office.
• Perform Accounting vs. Management reconciliation activities of the balance sheet and off-balance sheet transaction accounts.
• Justify balance sheet and off-balance sheet accounts.
• Account and justify the provisions and cost of risk accounts.
• Analyse the impact of late operations and, if necessary, enter the necessary Manual entries until D+2.

Qualifications

• Background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, with a strong interest/background in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Advance Knowledge of IFRS GAAP.
• Knowledge in Local Tax regulation (VAT).
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Effective ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Strong attention to detail, prioritization abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in English (at least a C1 level).
• Strong interest or proven experience in process automation and data preparation tools, with Alteryx being highly valued (experience with Power Query, SQL, or Python is also a plus).
