Natixis in Portugal is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join its IT-Corp team. The role focuses on gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements within the banking sector, with collaboration across stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, 4+ years of BA experience, and familiarity with Agile/Waterfall and UML. French language skills are a plus; the workplace features a hybrid policy and ESG-led

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process reengineering
• Proficiency in BA tools/methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, UML); English fluency is mandatory

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements in both French and English.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and project teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Conduct detailed business analysis, including gap analysis, process mapping, and data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create clear documentation: BRDs, functional specs, and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and gain consensus on deliverables.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry best practices in banking.
• Support project management in tracking progress, risks, and timely delivery.
• Participate in UAT and validate solutions meet requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts in best practices and methodologies.

Job Description

Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Business Analyst to join its IT-Corp team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within the banking sector and be proficient in English. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements in both French and English.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and project teams to ensure alignment and understanding of business objectives.
• Conduct detailed business analysis, including gap analysis, process mapping, and data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements and gain consensus on project deliverables.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry best practices and trends, particularly within the banking sector.
• Support the project management team in tracking project progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts in best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process reengineering.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, UML).
• Knowledge of banking products, regulations, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly (mandatory).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical independently and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive communication with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
