LUMYA Living in Porto is seeking an Accommodation Manager to own the day-to-day operation of the student residence and support pre-opening mobilisation for Winter 2026 with an opening in Spring/Summer 2027.

You will lead the on-site team, act as the central contact for residents, internal departments, service providers and external partners, ensuring compliance, service excellence and strong resident engagement.

Qualificações

• Completed vocational training or a degree in hospitality, tourism, real estate, property management or a related field.
• Operational experience in student accommodation, residential property or hospitality.
• Experience leading or supervising a team and developing others.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
• Commercial awareness of occupancy, budgets and costs.
• Confident handling residents, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Take overall responsibility for smooth day-to-day running of the site with high standards.
• Oversee the resident journey from enquiries to check-outs with strong engagement.
• Drive occupancy through proactive management of enquiries, bookings and rebookings.
• Ensure health, safety and maintenance checks and records are completed.
• Lead and develop the on-site team and manage shift scheduling.
• Coordinate external service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage the site budget and review invoices.
• Oversee administrative processes for day-to-day management.
• Monitor key performance indicators like occupancy and resident experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service standards and site performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Facilities, Health & Safety, People and IT.
• Take a hands-on approach to operational tasks when needed.
