We are looking for Underwriting Analyst.
If you have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the underwriting area
- Strong understanding of underwriting processes, guidelines, regulatory and Card Schemes requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Romanian
Your daily duties will be:
- Analyzing new business applications to assess risk factors and ensure customer onboarding in accordance to Zen’s policies and procedures
- Reviewing and evaluating e- commerce merchant applications to ensure adherence to Card Scheme requirements
- Evaluating the goods and services offered by the merchant, its online presence and reputation
- Evaluating business models and propose criteria and underwriting flow for new verticals based on industries best practices
- Assessing merchant’s financial position
- Setting merchant’s collateral to mitigate financial risk in accordance to the customer’s risk factors
- Maintaining current knowledge of industry regulations, standards and best practices
- Reviewing applications and working with customers to gather additional information / documentation if needed
- Researching claims history to determine whether claims were filed in the past or if there are any indications of fraudulent activity
- Collaborating with internal teams to streamline underwriting processes
