We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) a strong individual contributor focused on AI solutions — who will turn cold leads into active clients through follow-up techniques, including setting up introductory calls with prospects, while also leveraging an existing executive network to open doors, shape use cases, and close service deals. The ideal candidate is proactive, an excellent communicator, and skilled at crafting messages that resonate with our Ideal Customer Profile.

As a Business Development Manager at Altamira, you will play a crucial role in identifying and generating new business opportunities that align with our company strategy. You will also provide feedback and contribute to improving this strategy based on market insights.

The BDM should have a deep understanding of the market and competition to develop effective sales strategies and apply both sales and solution expertise. Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams is essential to drive and optimize Altamira's value proposition. A highly motivated individual who thrives on challenges and constantly seeks ways to improve the client experience will excel in this role.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience in lead generation, sales, or a similar role, with a focus on personalized outreach.
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B2C sales within the IT industry.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Odoo, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team, managing outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, calls, and other platforms daily.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools for lead generation and maintaining follow-ups with previous connections.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI/LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and MLOps for confident discovery and value mapping.
  • Strong skills in crafting effective communication sequences.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in AI, FinTech, EdTech, and Healthcare sectors.
  • Experience with UK and North American markets.
  • Existing network of VP/C-level decision-makers in UK/US SMB or enterprise segments.
  • Experience in Legal Tech.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and execution of the outbound strategy while managing inbound leads.
  • Write personalized follow-up sequences for outreach.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to prepare outreach materials.
  • Track and report daily activities and results with emphasis on pipeline health (coverage, stage progression, win rate) and forecast accuracy.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial customer engagement to closing deals.
  • Plan and attend relevant industry events.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with clients (online and on-site).
  • Conduct research and outreach via LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, industry conference sites, and other resources.
  • Establish and secure contracts with new customers.
  • Prospect potential customers through direct (calling, meetings) and indirect (networking) methods.
  • Qualify prospects based on company criteria for ideal customers.
  • Consult with prospects on business challenges and requirements, explaining our services and benefits.
  • Maintain high domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Present to clients, senior managers, and decision-makers; draft and deliver proposals.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and product specialists to address customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain plans to meet sales targets.
  • Provide sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Offer feedback to improve the sales cycle, enhance brand reputation, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide market insights to company management on trends, competitive threats, and customer needs.
  • Represent the company positively, conducting all sales activities with professionalism and integrity.
