Where you'll create impact

We’re looking for our first DevOps Hiretoestablish the DevOps foundationat DualEntry. You will play a pivotal role indesigning our internal platform, scaling infrastructure, and setting the standards for reliability and automation across the organization.

We’re seeking someone withsolid AWS experience, strong problem-solving skills, and apragmatic approach to DevOps, a builder who thrives on making systems reliable, scalable, and efficient. You’ll help build the foundational backend of a product with massive market pull.

• Lead the initial setupof our DevOps and platform engineering practices, defining standards, tooling, and infrastructure strategy.
• Design and deliver an internal platformfor personal or feature environments to empower developers and improve velocity.
• Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop CI/CD pipelinesto streamline deployments and automate release processes.
• Implement observability tooling(logging, monitoring, alerting) to detect and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborate closely with developersto identify bottlenecks, improve delivery, and enhance system reliability.
• Ensure high availability and uptimethrough effective monitoring, incident response, and recovery strategies.
• Promote infrastructure automationand Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Document systems, configurations, and incident processesfor team-wide clarity and consistency.
• Participate in on-call rotationsor coordinate time zone coverage to ensure 24-hour reliability across regions.

What sets you up for success

• 10 years of overall experience, orat least 5 years of strong AWS-focused engineering experience.
• Deep understanding ofAWS services(EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, networking, etc. ).
• Experience withInfrastructure as Code(Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. ).
• Strong background inCI/CD systems(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Familiarity withcontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment workflows.
• Experience implementingmonitoring and observabilitysolutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc. ).
• Comfortable workingindependentlyto build new systems and processes from the ground up.
• Time zone flexibilityto support partial 24-hour coverage is preferred.

• Base salary: 100-165k
• Equity: 50k+
