Job summary
A financial technology firm in Poland is seeking a high-level Data Scientist to join on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work on an advanced credit scoring system, emphasizing data preparation, machine learning model development, and integration into production systems. Strong expertise in statistics, Python, and financial analytics is required. The role offers the opportunity to address the challenge of credit invisibility among newcomers, with expected working hours of 10–20 per week.
Qualifications
- Graduate-level understanding of statistics, probability, and linear models.
- Hands-on experience with binary classification model development.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis.
- Solid SQL experience for data extraction and manipulation.
- Practical experience in financial analytics.
Responsibilities
- Clean, validate, and structure financial transaction data.
- Build and refine machine learning models.
- Draft specifications for integrating models into APIs.
- Contribute to model monitoring and retraining pipelines.
