Job summary

Versigent is seeking a VAT Accountant to join our finance team in Kraków. You will prepare VAT returns across EMEA, Intrastat, EC Sales List, and related reports, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.

The role requires 1–2 years in VAT and accounting, strong English, and advanced Excel skills. You will collaborate with finance, tax staff, and external providers to implement new regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in VAT and accounting.
• Good command of English.
• Good analytical skills and advanced Excel user.
• Fast learner and self-driven.

Responsibilities

• Preparing VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA;
• Preparing Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT related reports if required;
• Ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of VAT;
• Performing VAT related reconciliations;
• Supporting other functions in the area of VAT;
• Cooperating with finance, tax staff, customs as well as external service providers;
• Supporting implementation of new legal requirements;
• Participating in design and implementation of standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA region
