Job summary

Versigent, formerly Aptiv's spin-out, seeks a VAT Accountant to handle VAT returns and related reporting for multiple EMEA jurisdictions in Kraków. You will ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, and collaborate with finance, tax, and external providers while driving process improvements in a global setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of VAT experience, strong English, and advanced Excel skills, with hybrid work options and opportunities to grow within the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA.
• Prepare Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT-related reports as required.
• Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of VAT.
• Perform VAT-related reconciliations.
• Support other finance functions in VAT area.
• Coordinate with finance, tax staff, customs and external providers.
• Assist in implementing new legal requirements.
• Participate in the design and implementation of standardized procedures and continuous improvements in the EMEA region.

YOUR ROLE

• Preparing VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA
• Preparing Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT related reports if required
• Ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of VAT
• Performing VAT related reconciliations
• Supporting other functions in the area of VAT
• Cooperating with finance, tax staff, customs as well as external service providers
• Supporting implementation of new legal requirements
• Participating in design and implementation of standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA region

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Minimum 1-2 year experience in VAT and accounting (preferably in a shared services or multinational company)
• Good command of English
• Good analytical skills and advanced Excel user
• Fast learner and self-driven.
