Job summary

Versigent is hiring an accounting specialist to perform MEC activities and support statutory reporting. The role requires 3+ years of experience, solid accounting standards knowledge, and strong English and MS Excel skills. SAP fluency and independence with time management are essential.

You will prepare financial statements, assist auditors, calculate taxes, and support transfer pricing documentation while contributing to a hybrid work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of accounting standards.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and SAP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with effective time management and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Perform MEC activities for selected entities.
• Timely execution of assigned accounting activities (e.g. JV preparation, accruals/reserves, posting instructions).
• Ensure correct recognition of transactions in BS and P&L statements.
• Support preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
• Collect and prepare required documentation for auditors.
• Prepare and submit required statistical reports.
• Support calculation of income tax and deferred tax provisions.
• Assist Tax team in CIT returns and tax audits with documentation.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation as needed.
• Generate various ad-hoc reports.

YOUR ROLE

• Performing MEC activities for selected entities;

• Assuring correct recognition of transactions in BS and P&L statements;
• Supporting preparation of Statutory Financial Statements;
• Collecting and preparing required documentation for internal and external auditors;
• Preparing and submitting required statistical reports;
• Supporting calculation of the provision for income tax and deferred tax;
• Supporting Tax team in CIT return preparation and in tax audits by providing documentation, calculations, analyzes and explanations;
• Preparing necessary information for transfer pricing documentation;
• Preparing various ad-hock reports.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Solid knowledge of accounting standards;
• Relevant experience min. 3 years;
• Very good knowledge of English;
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel), SAP;
• Interpersonal and communication skills;
• Independence, time management, curiosity.
