Job summary

Universal Investment in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a results-driven middle office professional to support trade confirmation, settlement, and related processes across multiple products. You will collaborate with front office, clients, brokers, custodians, and fund accounting to resolve enquiries and ensure timely settlements.

Ideal candidates have university degree in Economics or Finance, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Experience in middle office operations within asset management or custodial contexts.
• University degree in Economics or Finance (or equivalent).
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Servicing all aspects of trade confirmation processing and settlement instruction creation and dispatch across multiple products traded
• Daily contact with front office, clients, brokers, custodians, and fund accounting to resolve trade related enquiries, trade discrepancies settlement issues
• Monitoring trades to ensure timely settlement processing. Pre-matching, cancelling, and re-booking of trades
• Indexing of securities transactions and dispatching of documents to the accounting department,
• Entering, matching, checking, validating for transferable securities transactions
• Sending settlement instructions to custodian banks
• Processing payment instructions
