Job summary

State Street in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a detail-oriented trade processing professional to verify trades, monitor SWIFT communications, and work closely with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to industry standards.

The ideal candidate has strong English, MS Excel skills, and a background in economics/finance or related field, with experience across Equity, Fixed Income, FX and cash deposits.

Qualifications

• Fluent English – strong verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office applications including MS Excel.
• Academic background in economics, finance, science or engineering.
• Multitasking and prioritization in deadline-driven environment.
• Experience processing Equity, Fixed Income, FX and cash deposits.
• Understanding of settlement methodologies across products.
• Understanding of settlement risks and financial markets.
• Familiarity with Omgeo CTM/ALERT, GTSS, SWIFT.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, brokers, custodians and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Verifying trades against counterparty instructions and SWIFT dispatch promptly.
• Ensure trades are confirmed within set timeframes and processed per product.
• Monitor SWIFT messaging flow to custodians, clients and fund accountants.
• Collaborate with brokers, custodians, fund accountants and internal stakeholders.
• Work with client Front and Middle Office to resolve trade discrepancies.
• Support resolution of complex queries with internal and external teams.
• Adhere to SMPG, ICTIC, Omgeo and SWIFT best practices.
• Support process improvements and team distribution of work.
• Assist Team Leader and junior members with tasks.
• Maintain compliance with global guidelines and internal controls.
