Job summary

Equinix is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer for our EMEA Solutions Engineering team, supporting Telco and Media. You’ll translate customer challenges into technical solutions across data center, network and cloud portfolios, collaborating with Sales Account Executives and senior engineers for mentorship.

This early-career presales role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into solutions architecture and leadership within a global digital infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data center, network or cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to tech and business audiences.
• Ability to manage pre-sales workflows from discovery to quote with growing independence.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Account Executives to identify customer needs and technical requirements.
• Assist in preparing RFI/RFP/RFQ documents and deliverables; align with customer expectations.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers during presentations and meetings.
• Coordinate pre-sales support across all Equinix products and services for a seamless customer experience.
• Apply foundational understanding of Equinix data center, network and cloud products to customer scenarios.
• Analyze situations of basic to moderate complexity and develop solutions under supervision.
• Support sales teams in acquiring new business and maintaining relationships with customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders; collaborate with Pre/Post Sales Support and Operations.
