Job summary

MTU Aero Engines Polska, located in Tajęcina near Rzeszów, seeks a security analyst to assess vulnerabilities and manage third-party risk across external vendors. You will define risk scores, communicate findings, and coordinate remediation with internal teams and suppliers.

The role requires strong knowledge of information security principles and the ability to prioritize remediation actions in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor remediation activities performed by vendors, including follow-up and validation of corrective actions.
• Track remediation status and ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze security vulnerabilities identified in externally accessible infrastructure, systems, and services operated by third‑party vendors
• Define, maintain, and track security risk scores for third‑party vendors
• Communicate identified vulnerabilities and security findings to external suppliers in a clear and actionable manner
• Coordinate and monitor remediation activities performed by vendors, including follow‑up and validation of corrective actions
• Track remediation status and ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with internal teams such as IT Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Procurement

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of information security principles, vulnerabilities
• Experience in assessing and managing security risks related to third‑party IT services or suppliers
• Ability to analyze vulnerability reports, security assessments, and technical findings
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with external vendors and internal teams
• Understanding of security standards and regulatory requirements

• Good command of English in a professional IT/security environment
