Job summary

MTU Aero Engines AG in Poland seeks a procurement specialist to manage suppliers of finished parts and raw materials, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with quality standards.

You will develop supplier performance, lead RFQ/RFI processes, negotiate agreements, and coordinate inventory with internal teams across MTU Polska and MTU Aero Engines AG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience in an international aerospace company.
• Strong communication, assertiveness, self-discipline and deadline orientation.
• Ability to work under time pressure in a dynamic supply chain environment.
• Very good English; German language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers of finished parts and raw materials to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and evaluate suppliers by delivery, quality, innovation, sustainability, and tech capabilities.
• Lead RFQ and RFI processes for MTU Polska and MTU Aero Engines AG.
• Negotiate and prepare commercial agreements.
• Manage inventory at company and supplier locations.
• Organize supplier meetings and workshops; lead improvement projects across supply base.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supplier Quality, IT, Engineering, Logistics, Production, Maintenance, and Finance.
