Job summary

Nordea is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive GCP infrastructure and AI platform capabilities in a hybrid role. You will lead hands-on engineering for Terraform-based patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and secure foundations, enabling teams to provision and run data and AI solutions at scale within a regulated banking environment.

You will collaborate with product owners, data scientists, cybersecurity, governance and cloud platform teams to ensure pragmatic, compliant, and production-ready

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating production-grade GCP platforms.
• Hands-on leadership with Terraform, automation, CI/CD, and security patterns.
• Proven ability to align platform decisions with regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering direction for GCP infrastructure and AI platform capabilities while remaining hands-on.
• Lead hands-on engineering, including Terraform, CI/CD, GCP config, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
• Develop reusable platform patterns and Terraform modules for secure, scalable environments.
• Design and operate secure GCP foundations: IAM, networking, landing zones, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Build platform patterns for access, secrets, cost, and lifecycle management.
• Drive adoption of Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub with banking-grade controls.
• Mentor engineers, review code and designs, and communicate complex decisions clearly.
• Collaborate with product, data science, cybersecurity and governance teams to stay compliant.
