Job summary

Nordea is modernising its cloud-native data and AI platforms within a regulated banking environment. This hands-on GCP engineer role focuses on designing, building, testing, and improving platform patterns and automation to enable scaled data and AI solutions securely.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects, cybersecurity, governance, and cloud platform teams to deliver reliable, reusable capabilities in a hybrid setup, with up to 40% remote work and locations in Poland or Finland.

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Data Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Several years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

Build, configure and improve GCP infrastructure foundations using Terraform and automated delivery pipelines.
Implement reusable infrastructure‑as‑code modules for projects, networking, IAM, service accounts, secrets, logging, monitoring, and policy guardrails.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for provisioning, validation, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of platform components.
