Job summary

DSV is seeking a skilled supervisor to lead the customs administration team in Warsaw. You will coordinate daily operations, optimize processes, and ensure timely SLA delivery across the service area.

The role requires strong communication with stakeholders at all levels, knowledge of customs regulations, and experience in budget planning and financial management. A proactive, development-focused mindset and leadership capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar position.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Higher education, preferably in logistics, customs, management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and the TSL industry.
  • English knowledge at least B2/C1.
  • Proactive use of AI-powered tools and digital solutions to improve productivity.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and develop direct reports.
  • Ability to deliver company goals and drive operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of transport and logistics industry, customs operations, and financial management of an operational team.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and optimizing work processes, including implementation of best practices.
  • Coordinating daily tasks with team members.
  • Managing delivery of Service Level Agreements within the managed service area.
  • Creating and maintaining effective cooperation with other teams within the Customs department, other departments, and branches.
  • Acting as a Point of Contact for issues, escalations, and operational support.
  • Managing team performance and efficiency based on relevant analyses, KPIs, and reports.
  • Creating and maintaining process documentation.
  • Participating in budget planning and actively managing the P&L to ensure financial performance and target achievement.
Our requirements

  • Higher education, preferably in logistics, customs, management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and the transportation, shipping, and logistics (TSL) industry.

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proactive use of AI-powered tools and digital solutions to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency is encouraged.
  • Ability to effectively engage, motivate, and develop direct reports.
