Job summary

AMS is looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist - German speaker to collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers across the German-speaking market in Europe. You will engage candidates, build pipelines, and drive proactive sourcing strategies to deliver high-quality shortlists and a positive candidate experience.

You will partner with recruitment teams, leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels, and help shape effective hiring solutions while maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Business fluent German and English in writing and speaking.
• Experience in talent sourcing, recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Confidence conducting candidate qualification and screening conversations.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and create effective sourcing strategies.
• Identify, attract, and engage high-quality candidates through proactive sourcing techniques and talent mapping.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across the German-speaking market and wider EMEA region.
• Conduct consultative candidate screening conversations to assess skills, experience, motivations, and career aspirations.
• Deliver high-quality candidate shortlists, providing insights and recommendations to support hiring decisions.
• Utilize sourcing tools, recruitment technologies, market intelligence, and data to continuously optimize sourcing outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to improve hiring strategies and candidate experiences.
• Act as a brand ambassador for clients and AMS, ensuring professional and engaging candidate interactions throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment activity records in relevant systems and ensure compliance with established processes.

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you'll partner with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and engage outstanding talent across the German-speaking market. Using your sourcing expertise, market knowledge, and relationship‑building skills, you'll help deliver effective hiring solutions while creating a positive experience for candidates throughout their journey

Key Accountabilities

Skills & Requirements

Must Have

• Business fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, executive search, or talent acquisition.
• Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels to identify and engage talent.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Confidence conducting candidate qualification and screening conversations.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results.

Nice to Have

• Experience sourcing talent across multiple European markets.
• Experience working within an RPO, agency, or outsourced recruitment environment.
• Knowledge of labour market trends and talent intelligence methodologies.
• Experience sourcing specialist or hard‑to‑find profiles.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
