Job summary

HSBC in Kraków is seeking a senior Global Enterprise Risk Management professional to join the Strategic Risk team. You will co-lead end-to-end risk inputs for the STAP, GSM and 7.1b processes and prepare executive-ready materials for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of risk management in a global banking context.
• Knowledge of regulatory landscape applicable to risk management.
• Deep understanding of risk identification, assessment, monitoring, controls, and mitigation, including operational risk awareness.
• Proven stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical capability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent written communication for Board/Executive-ready papers.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead end-to-end risk input for STAP, GSM and 7.1b processes, partnering with strategy colleagues.
• Produce executive-ready materials that synthesize risks, issues, mitigants and decisions.
• Deliver high-quality management information on the STAP transaction pipeline, including throughput and cycle times.
• Provide risk insights and thematic analysis for Strategic Execution Risk reporting.
• Support senior managers with portfolio deep dives and risk-based challenge.
• Coordinate the FRP process from a Strategic Risk perspective with stakeholder alignment.
• Build relationships across Strategy, Business Lines, Finance and Risk and Compliance.
• Collaborate with Internal and External Audit to maintain a holistic risk view and close audit findings.
