HSBC Holdings plc in Kraków is seeking a Vice President, Resilience Risk Assurance to lead end-to-end assurance reviews over resilience risks and controls across the bank's global businesses.

You will assess the design and operational effectiveness of controls, communicate clear conclusions to Risk Owners and senior stakeholders, and guide a team while upholding independence of the assurance function.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of resilience risks and controls in assurance context.
• Proven experience leading assurance reviews in financial services.
• Strong understanding of resilience risk within the global financial services industry.
• External financial services qualification or professional accreditation.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end assurance reviews over resilience risks and controls.
• Provide SME support across BI/Incident Risk, Data Risk, Third-Party Risk, and related obligations.
• Assess design and operational effectiveness of controls and communicate conclusions.
• Identify emerging risks and regional trends to strengthen the assurance programme.
• Ensure findings are evidenced and reported in a timely manner.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders while maintaining independence.
• Coordinate assurance activities across the three lines of defence.
• Lead, develop and support a team within budgets and the Assurance Plan.
