Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Planning & Engineering Business Analyst (Associate - Standard - Senior) to drive requirements and bridge business needs with IT delivery in Europe.

You will gather, document, and prioritize business needs, support UAT, and partner with IT, Operations and Regulatory to implement improvements. Travel up to 25% across FedEx locations in Europe is expected; fluent English is essential to present to technical and business audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills across functions and levels.
• Root-cause analysis and strategic prioritization.
• Experience in designing and documenting business/system requirements.
• Affinity with technology and an innovative mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently (25%+) to various FedEx locations in Europe.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Preferably MBA or similar advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate and document detailed business needs, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Evaluate business requests and needs against the corporate strategy.
• Hand-over requirements to development teams.
• Support user-acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with change management.
• Recognize and recommend opportunities for innovations.
• Take ownership of initiatives and work independently to successful conclusion.
• Maintain close partnerships with IT, Operations and Regulatory.
• Engage with all levels of business stakeholders to identify business needs.
