Job summary

bolttech Poland is seeking a strategic Supply Chain/Procurement professional to optimise purchasing and liquidation of assets. You will negotiate prices, align purchasing with demand forecasts, and maximise margins while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance and logistics to deliver profitable, efficient stock management and clear KPI reporting. English fluency and a proactive, analytical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in Operations or Supply Chain within the Telecommunication or FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills and logical decision‑making experience.
• Good financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
• Ability to work methodically with attention to detail.
• “Can‑do” proactive attitude with the determination to see through change.
• Ability to work effectively across a complex matrix organisation and establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and distributors to secure reliable supply and favorable terms.
• Purchase pricing negotiation: Negotiate competitive purchase pricing, volume discounts, payment terms, and buy-back agreements to protect margin.
• Demand-aligned purchasing: Align purchasing decisions with forecasts, customer requirements, and market trends to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Inventory liquidation: Develop and execute liquidation strategies for ageing, slow-moving or excess inventory through resale, auctions, or recycling partners.
• Margin maximisation: Collaborate with sales teams to maximise margin through pricing strategies and rapid disposal of depreciating assets.
• Market intelligence: Monitor market pricing, competitor activity, and supply-chain conditions to inform decisions.
• Contract and compliance management: Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with terms and audits.
