Job summary

bolttech Poland is seeking a strategic Supply Chain/Procurement professional to optimise purchasing and liquidation of assets. You will negotiate prices, align purchasing with demand forecasts, and maximise margins while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance and logistics to deliver profitable, efficient stock management and clear KPI reporting. English fluency and a proactive, analytical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in Operations or Supply Chain within the Telecommunication or FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical decision‑making experience.
  • Good financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
  • Ability to work methodically with attention to detail.
  • “Can‑do” proactive attitude with the determination to see through change.
  • Ability to work effectively across a complex matrix organisation and establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and distributors to secure reliable supply and favorable terms.
  • Purchase pricing negotiation: Negotiate competitive purchase pricing, volume discounts, payment terms, and buy-back agreements to protect margin.
  • Demand-aligned purchasing: Align purchasing decisions with forecasts, customer requirements, and market trends to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Inventory liquidation: Develop and execute liquidation strategies for ageing, slow-moving or excess inventory through resale, auctions, or recycling partners.
  • Margin maximisation: Collaborate with sales teams to maximise margin through pricing strategies and rapid disposal of depreciating assets.
  • Market intelligence: Monitor market pricing, competitor activity, and supply-chain conditions to inform decisions.
  • Contract and compliance management: Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with terms and audits.

In this position you will…

…be responsible for ensuring efficient purchase and disposal of assets in line with Customer requirements. The role includes commercial negotiation and relationship management to maximise profitability and operational efficiency in both purchasing and liquidation of stock.

You will be responsible for:
  • Supplier relationship management - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and distributors to secure reliable supply, favourable terms, and priority access to high‑value stock.
  • Purchase pricing negotiation - Negotiate competitive purchase pricing, volume discounts, payment terms, and buy‑back agreements to protect margin and reduce cost exposure.
  • Demand‑aligned purchasing - Align purchasing decisions with demand forecasts, Customer requirements, and market trends to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid over‑buying.
  • Inventory liquidation - Develop and execute liquidation strategies for ageing, slow‑moving, or excess inventory through resale, wholesale channels, auctions, or recycling partners.
  • Margin maximisation - Work closely with sales teams to maximise margin through strategic pricing, targeted sales of high‑value stock, and rapid disposal of depreciating assets.
  • Market intelligence - Monitor market pricing, competitor activity, and supply‑chain conditions to inform purchasing and liquidation decisions.
  • Contract and compliance management - Manage supplier contracts, ensure compliance with commercial terms, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and financial reporting.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration - Partner with demand planning, finance, logistics, and sales teams to ensure purchasing and liquidation activities support broader commercial and operational goals.
  • Performance reporting - Track KPIs including purchase cost variance, liquidation recovery rate, inventory ageing, and margin contribution.
